The Gameinformer January 2016 cover has been revealed and it looks as though Gameinformer is embracing 2016 as the year of Virtual Reality. The cover’s artwork, by Sam Spratt, displays a young woman wearing some futuristic virtual reality headset and headphone atop a color background. Sam Spratt has done covers for publication such as Gameinformer & Variety magazine in the past, and this piece is another example of his amazing style and design.
This January issue will contain over 52 pages of VR information; such as controllers, software and future technologies. Gameinformer sat down with Oculus, SONY and HTC to discuss their upcoming virtual reality head sets, technology and more. Along with their Virtual Reality coverage Gameinformer also has previews on some upcoming big titled VR games, such as Oculus’s Lucky’s Tale.
The issue won’t arrive to print subscribers for another week or two but digital subscribers will be able to read the latest issue later today or early tomorrow. Digital issues will also be available to purchase through websites such as Zinio, Nook, or Kindle.
Along with the cover announcement Gameinformer released a virtual reality hub. The page doesn’t have any content but will contain all of Gameinformer’s upcoming VR news and highlights.
