Gear VR will Get 360 Degree NBA All Star Game Highlights

Gear VR will be getting 360 Degree footage from this weeks NBA All Star Game in New York. Sources claim that this weeks event will be recorder with 360 degree cameras. The footage will be available in the “near future” through Samsung’s Milk VR app within Gear VR. The footage will include highlights from the Three-Point Contest, Slam-Dunk Contest, and the All-Star Game. Thought the footage won’t be available immediately after it will be given out for free and its an exciting entry in VR entertainment.

This is the first official NAB event to be recorder with such cameras. It seems that the NBA is interested in exploring the idea of VR sports watching, hopefully after the footage is made available the trend will catch on.
