Scary Oculus Rift experiences vary from short to long where some may contain simple jump scares while other offer a truly unique experiences. Below we listed some of our top scary oculus rift games and demos. To play these horror VR games you will need a Oculus Rift DK2 and follow the download links. I would suggest not looking up gameplay or spoilers for any of the games below so none of the scares get spoiled.

[title size=”2″]THRILL GAMES[/title]
Roller Coasters and thrill rides. Some VR demos take the role of amusement park rides or other thrill ride attractions. For some people, they actually experience the same vertigo and weightless feeling they do on actual thrill rides. If you have a fear of Roller Coasters and other thrill rides why not try one in VR. As a general warning these types of games can cause the most motion sickness.

[title size=”2″]HORROR GAMES[/title]
Scary atmospheres, low lighting and monsters. If you want to experience some truly scary oculus rift demos, these horror VR games will make you scream. Usually when watching a horror movie or playing a scary game you can always look away from the screen if things get too intense. Even if you don’t look away, the fact that you are watching the action on a screen gives you that barrier between the horror. Using the Oculus Rift, there is no barrier, you feel like you are THERE. Even closing your eyes when things get too scary does not help much. Horror games truly blur the lines of what you perceive is real. If you are a fan of the horror genre, VR horror games are an amazing concept. All these games are mainly demos, fully developed games should be amazing and a great experience for VR.
