Youtube Will Be Getting 60 FPS Support

YouTube will be getting support for 60 FPS videos. Higher frame-rates footage will allow much better looking videos, greatly superior to YouTube’s current 24fps frame rate. The announcement was made on Youtube’s Twitter account, with promises of more information coming soon. For VR enthusiast this is a good thing to come out of YouTube. 60 FPS is the current frame rate in which VR games and software begin to blur the uncanny valley.

RiftyBusiness will continue to follow YouTube, and will report back with any updates.
