The official oculus rift recommended PC specs have been announced by Oculus VR. Having the correct PC build is key for getting comfortable, sustained presence. To achieve the full Rift experience, Oculus VR recommends the following system build:

The time has come, the Oculus Rift release date has been announced. The Oculus Rift will be shipping to consumers in Q1 2016, with pre-orders coming later this year. The final Oculus Rift model is an upgrade of the Crescent Bay prototype rather than the DK2.
